Social inclusion: This project aims to provide a basis for an improved culture and structures that will support democratic dialogue and youth involvement in order to promote civic participation, create participatory mechanisms, thus preventing marginalisation and its negative effects on individuals and society. Supporting schools to tackle early school leaving and disadvantage: The project also entails finding and implementing structural revisions that will facilitate youth participation with an emphasis on youth with lesser opportunities. This includes structures for meetings with decision makers and/or other political arenas. This is expected to reinforce educational institutions and supporting youth organisations in their efforts to decrease absenteeism and drop-out. Promoting quality youth work: The objectives are to identify and develop existing methods and tools for teachers and other youth professionals, design new ones, develop training tools such as on-line course(s), thus improving the skills and competencies of teachers and youth workers.
